Parents,

Our parent involvement is responsible for over $85,000 in revenue through the events and initiatives they operate.  This includes concessions stand coverage, , gates, and helping coaches during games/meets and practice. Having the families volunteer helps to keep our costs and the participation fees as low as possible.

This year we are requiring each family to cover 4 SHIFTS. It is required that each family of an athlete complete four (4) shifts throughout the year (regardless of how many sons you have or how many sports they compete in).  It is important to note that you may sign up for ANY SPORT volunteer opportunities that fit your schedule whether or not your son is participating in that sport.

Anyone can sign up for any shifts regardless if your student-athlete participates in the sport you are working. 

Please note there are other ways to cover your required shift. Some of those include helping with team meals, working games off-campus (swimming, bowling, XC, etc.), and many other ideas.  Please reach out to Zac Bayer ([email protected]) to see if your team assistance will count towards your four required shifts. If you cover something off-campus, pass along your information, dates/times, and the job you worked for, and he will give you credit.

If you are not willing or unable to fulfill this requirement, you may “buy out” your participation for $240. This fee will be charged in addition to your son’s participation fee(s).  If you perform a portion of the four required shifts, you will be billed $60 for each unfulfilled shift at the end of the school year.  All fees due will be added to your FACTS account.
