Monday, Varsity Golf traveled to Dayton for the Alter Invitational at Miami Valley Golf Club.  The course, while in great shape, was playing difficult with its tight fairways, fast greens and windy conditions.  The team score of 337 placed the Lancers 13th in the 20-team field.  Senior Gabe Logan carded a 3-over par 74 to lead the team.  On the team's performance, Logan commented that "the guys are coming together and putting in some good rounds as the season goes on.  We always look to see where the teams in our Sectional finish to gauge our performance.  We're hanging in there."

Senior Andrew Bobowski contributed with a solid 85 followed by the Colins (Birck and Bobowski) and their pair of 89s.  Junior Harrison Wood, playing in back-to-back Varsity tournaments, continued his fine play with a 90 on the day.

Varsity is back in action on Thursday with the fourth of four GCL Quad Matches.  They travel to TPC River's Bend for the final nine holes of golf before preparations begin for the GCL Tournament a week from Sunday.
